A journey from a Madarsa to a Sr. Sec. School | Jaipur

Rehmani Model Schoolproviding education to 1,300 students of the minority community, where the Principal is Kailash Chandra Yadav who was a former worker of RSS’s Adarsh Vidhya Mandir.

The School is located in the Ramganj area of the city, which is now Sr.Secondary School but once was a Madarsa where only religious text was taught.

  •  All the students are Muslim, but out of 63 teachers, 9 are Hindu.
  • Running such a school was not so easy as parents were reluctant to send their children due to financial crisis.
  • There was a time when principal and his staff collectively paid student’s fee for 6 months, which the education board refunded later.
  • Management of the school says,” we prefer qualification over religion while hiring a teacher”.

This educational institution is a perfect example of communal harmony in the country where few selfish people are trying to divide the country with each day passing.
